Part 1 : Junior Watson : Recipe
So, after posting about the analysis of massive shit, I have decided to start the task of having a Jr. Watson in my bedroom (We do not have garage's in India , and the believe me - my bedroom looks more or less the way a garage in western countries would look!)
So as per our guiding article - Following is the recipe for our Junior!
3 -- x86 Hosts with the following configuration
1. 64 bit Quad Core Processor - either Intel VT / AMD-V
2. 8 GB RAM
3. 300 GB HDD
4. CD/DVD R/W
5. 1 GbE Ethernet
1- Monitor . Mouse, Keyboard
1- Ehternet 1 GbE 4 port hub, RJ45 cables
Surge Protector, Power Strip
LCM (local console monitor) - 4 port switch (KVM switch) + cables
Have been thinking of how do I start to put this all together - and hence as subparts to all of this - I would investigate all these parts in their individual posts and then link them from here.
